Your new company

Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a land developer and residential home builder company based in NE Calgary. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team immediately, for a contract role for 2 months. This position offers full time hours, Monday-Friday, and it is fully in office

Your new role

  • Maintain an organized and operational supply room, including ordering office supplies
  • Ensure visitors are welcomed and introduced to respective team members
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, redirect calls or take messages, as required
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions including credit cards, expense claims and payables
  • Receive and distribute daily mail and courier packages
  • Maintain operational, organized and well-stocked kitchen/coffee stations and other
  • common areas
  • Coordinate and execute all employee business card orders and approved branded stationary
  • Arrange equipment repairs
  • Ensure the efficient operation of offsite shredding
  • Coordinate all boardroom and equipment set-up

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 2-3 years Administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Be a go-getter, effective communicator, and have a strong attention to detail
  • Committed to quality, integrity and solutions-focused
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion and professionalism
