Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef located in Toronto, ON. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, staff management, and ensuring high-quality dining experiences for guests. This is a multiunit role, in overseeing two restaurants.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in culinary arts and kitchen management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a culinary team effectively
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong creative and organizational skills to develop innovative menus
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and management
  • Certification in culinary arts or relevant field
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of cost of goods and labor cost
