Our client in the consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Benefits Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have benefit, managerial and vendor management skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Benefits Manager
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid – onsite 2 days/home 3 days wk)
Contract: 3 Months (extension possible)
Pay Range: $50 – $57 hourly
What’s the Job?
- Responsible for the design of cost effective and competitive benefit programs to attract and retain employees.
- This position manages the company’s health plans (including medical, prescription drug, and dental), welfare plans (including life, AD&D, STD, LTD), HSA, FSA digital navigation platform, point solutions and other voluntary employee benefits.
- Works closely with the Benefits Specialists and Service Delivery teams on implementation of new programs and must develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (vendors/consultants).
- Develop and deliver a multi-year strategy which drives the evolution of the active employee benefits programs offered.
- Lead annual review of the benefit plans for cost effectiveness, competitiveness and benefit trends.
What’s Needed?
- 8+ years strategic benefits management including design, delivery, analysis, budgeting and communication
- Strong Vendor Management experience
- Experience managing multiple programs in a complex, outsourced environment
- Experience with retiree medical programs, RDS and Medicare
- Strong technical understanding of file transmissions with HRIS systems/payroll and TPAs, data feeds and data integrity
