We are currently looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Analyst/Accountant to improve our accounts receivable process. The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments, maintaining records, collaborating with program managers, and resolving any discrepancies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable: issue timely invoices, track and record payments, handle overdue accounts, and escalate collections when necessary.
- Maintain and organize electronic financial records accurately.
- Efficiently handle online deposits, including processing and recording ACH payments.
- Ensure compliance with SOW invoicing requirements to streamline client operations.
- Continuously enhance the accounts receivable function by implementing and driving best practices.
- Prepare scorecard metrics for internal meetings and performance reviews.
- Assist in enforcing internal financial controls and procedures in alignment with accepted accounting standards.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements.
- Respond to client and staff inquiries, ensuring contract compliance, and recommending improvements for invoicing and efficiency.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
