Team Overview
This role focuses on the management, maintenance, and optimization of Tradeweb’s global network infrastructure. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with infrastructure, application, and customer-facing teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, implement network infrastructure changes, and address client inquiries. The position requires a strong technical background in network operations, along with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
The Tradeweb Technology Hub is based in London, where team members meet for collaboration and planning. Travel to the London office or data centers may be necessary for organizational off-sites or to implement network changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot Tradeweb’s corporate and production network infrastructure, including third-party connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi, VPN devices, and routing protocols.
- Demonstrate strong routing and switching expertise (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast) within complex, multi-tenant environments.
- Collaborate with external dealers and internal application support teams to maintain and configure dealer connectivity.
- Manage firewall configurations, rule provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Utilize network automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, YAML playbooks, and Python.
- Work with vendors, third parties, and agencies to resolve peering and interoperability issues.
- Deploy and stabilize network device operating systems and configurations.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and AWS are a plus.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and data communication principles.
- Experience with data processing, telecommunications, and network security.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
