Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications & Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a dynamic, creative, and strategic communications and marketing plan that advances ONE’s mission, strengthens its profile, and expands engagement through innovative channels, partnerships, and platforms globally.
- Brand Management: Oversee and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistency across all messaging and platforms. Lead initiatives to enhance global brand recognition and reputation.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture partnerships with private, public, and nonprofit organizations that align with ONE’s mission and drive meaningful impact.
- Digital Marketing: Lead the organization’s digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, website management, and SEO. Use data analytics to assess effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and the broader community. Develop tailored communication strategies to inform and engage these audiences effectively.
- Events & Campaigns Oversight: Design and execute innovative, high-impact events and campaigns that reinforce ONE’s brand while maximizing cost efficiency. Coordinate with market teams, sponsors, and partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Content Development: Supervise the creation of compelling content, including advertising, newsletters, reports, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with ONE’s mission and audience engagement goals.
- Market Research: Implement research tools to refine audience insights and measure the success of marketing and communications initiatives.
- Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the fundraising team to create marketing campaigns and communication strategies that increase funder engagement, drive contributions, and support fundraising events.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing, branding, and communications team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are strategically allocated to maximize impact.
- Crisis Communications: Establish and implement crisis communication strategies to effectively manage unforeseen events and protect the organization’s reputation. Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely, transparent messaging during crises.
What You Bring to ONE
- A deep passion for ONE’s mission and a strong desire to create a lasting impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in brand management, strategic communications, and marketing, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role (preferably in the nonprofit sector).
- C-level experience is a plus.
- Proven success in developing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive engagement and fundraising.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, and analytics.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and cultivate relationships.
- Experience in global brand management and reputation-building.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment under tight deadlines.
- Experience in poverty alleviation, infectious disease advocacy, policy, and legislation is a plus.
- Consumer product marketing experience is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or the U.K.
