Automotive Payroll and Human Resources Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Payroll and Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR and payroll functions within our organization. This role is responsible for payroll processing, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Compensation will be determined based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll three times a month, including wage calculations, deductions, and tax filings.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Handle performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee health insurance, retirement plans, and employee perks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Records & HR Support: Maintain accurate employee records, provide HR guidance, and collaborate with department managers on workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems (Reynolds DMS experience is a plus).
  • Proven HR management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
