WebMD, part of Internet Brands, is a leading provider of health information. They are seeking a Compliance & Privacy Analyst/Engineer to support their security program, privacy, and risk management needs.
Role Overview:
The Compliance & Privacy Analyst/Engineer will manage data privacy and compliance assessments, conduct data inventory and mapping, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mapping and inventory.
- Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Understand data types and flows across the business.
- Support data privacy and compliance projects.
- Recommend process changes to address data protection laws.
- Support data subject rights requests and privacy inquiries.
- Perform compliance assessments and report findings.
- Administer the annual compliance training program.
- Perform third-party risk assessments.
- Support SOC2, ISO 27001, and HiTrust certification audits.
- Communicate privacy and compliance risks to leadership.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts.
- Identify program efficiencies and policy improvements.
- Assess business continuity, contingency planning, and incident response plans.
- Partner with business units on risk assessment and management.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
- 3+ years of data privacy management experience.
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and state privacy regulations.
- 3+ years of security compliance and risk management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with global projects and cross-functional teams.
- Experience documenting and implementing procedures.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional data privacy (CIPP, CDPSE) or security certification (CISSP, CISM).
- Experience with OneTrust.
