Key Responsibilities

🔹 Security Monitoring & SIEM Alert Management – Continuously monitor security alerts, including SIEM notifications, to identify, investigate, and respond to potential threats, ensuring organizational security.

🔹 Incident Response – Act as a first or second line of defense in responding to security alerts from the SOC and internal monitoring systems, coordinating response and remediation efforts.

🔹 Vulnerability Management – Investigate and respond to identified vulnerabilities, collaborate with internal teams to track remediation progress, and assist in monthly vulnerability reviews following established protocols.

🔹 User Training & Awareness – Support internal cybersecurity training programs to enhance security awareness across the organization.

🔹 Endpoint Security – Manage and resolve security alerts related to antivirus and antimalware solutions to protect devices and communication channels.

🔹 Email & Messaging Security – Address anti-spam and anti-phishing security alerts to safeguard communication platforms.

🔹 Risk Management – Identify security risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and implement corrective measures in line with security policies.

🔹 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) – Monitor and investigate DLP alerts, ensuring data security and preventing potential breaches.

🔹 Physical Security – Assist in implementing security measures to protect organizational facilities and assets.

🔹 Cryptography – Support encryption solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure secure communication.

🔹 Security Operations – Assist in daily security operations, ensuring systems are functioning securely and efficiently.

🔹 Additional Duties – Perform other cybersecurity-related responsibilities as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in system and network administration within diverse or large-scale environments.
  • 1-2 years of direct cybersecurity-related experience.

Certifications & Skills

  • At least one industry-recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CompTIA CySA+).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with vendor-agnostic security and IT best practices.
