Your Role

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security tools and solutions for a large-scale organization. Collaborating closely with security operations, network engineers, IT infrastructure teams, DevOps, and vendors, you will:

  • Perform security scans, analyze vulnerabilities, and work with IT teams to coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Assess cloud security configurations and dashboards, proactively identifying and mitigating emerging threats.
  • Monitor and investigate SIEM alerts to detect and resolve potential security incidents.
  • Develop security metrics and dashboards to provide insights for operational and management reporting.
  • Assist in handling user-reported security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and providing after-hours and on-call support when necessary.
  • Support special projects within the information security team, including identity and access management, advanced endpoint protection, and disaster recovery planning.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years specializing in information security or a degree in the field.
  • Strong expertise in securing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of network architecture, system security, and application security.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.
