Business Operations Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Operations Analyst will oversee the end-to-end operations of individual client accounts and client group portfolios, managing up to $50M in annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain sales, opportunity, and staffing data in Salesforce, supporting pursuit leads.
  • Facilitate the deal review process and governance with senior leadership.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual account planning efforts.
  • Manage strategic account onboarding, including background checks, credentials, and equipment setup.
  • Monitor engagement financials, partnering with delivery teams to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze data from Power BI, Salesforce, and other platforms, providing meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Influence senior leaders to adopt operational excellence best practices.
  • Assess business risks and provide updates to the Market Chief of Staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the Engagement Management Office and global services teams to troubleshoot and support lifecycle processes.
  • Drive global initiatives and support process improvements across the business.

Location

  • Hybrid role based in the Slalom Minneapolis office, with 1-3 days per week onsite.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex issues.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication, translating data into insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to synthesize complex data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience in business operations, process improvement, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to consulting methodologies, operational analytics, or data governance.
  • Professional services industry experience is a plus.
