Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategic portfolio planning for both owned and leased real estate assets by conducting detailed and complex financial analyses.
  • Manage and apply internal and third-party market analytics to support valuation assessments, metro analyses, buy vs. lease evaluations, and other insights that enhance portfolio performance.
  • Perform market research and financial analysis to evaluate real estate trends, assisting the team in making informed property investment decisions.
  • Support the Portfolio Strategy team by providing in-depth analysis, data insights, and visual reporting to facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external partners to explore alternative financial strategies (e.g., Tenant Credit Leases, Forward Funding, Sale-Leaseback) for real estate acquisitions, lease transactions, and dispositions.
  • Assess current and potential real estate investments, delivering comprehensive financial analyses to support executive-level decision-making.
  • Analyze economic indicators and market trends using advanced financial modeling tools to provide sound investment recommendations.
  • Assist in developing, refining, and reviewing financial modeling tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay updated on financial market trends and economic conditions, offering timely insights to stakeholders.
  • Foster positive collaboration with internal Real Estate and Facilities teams, as well as external business partners.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in analyzing complex financial models.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting, zoning regulations, and municipal requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Relationship Management, Time Management, Risk Mitigation, Strategic Planning, and Communication (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, communicating findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and trends, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI) or other data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet high expectations, focusing on cost management and positioning the company for future growth.
