Product Manager – Essential Job Functions

  • Support the implementation of marketing strategies, price management, and contract strategies by working closely with sales account managers and the business management team.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to analyze trends, pricing direction, and supply-demand dynamics, facilitating business planning and profit and loss forecasting.
  • Collaborate with finance, planning, legal, and sales teams within Olin to optimize earnings, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and develop effective contract and pricing strategies.
  • Drive operational improvements by fostering collaboration between customers, planning teams, and manufacturing operations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Epoxy business unit and manufacturing, identifying productivity opportunities and maximizing the value of current and future sales agreements.
  • Align closely with global marketing, sales, and planning teams to develop global customer strategies and enhance upstream asset profitability.

Product Manager – Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree* in Business Administration, Marketing, Basic Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree* preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in commodity chemicals and/or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of or experience with customer base is a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for mathematics, problem-solving, and both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in designing and delivering presentations and reports.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Prior relevant experience at Olin is preferred
