Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in shaping the product strategy for the SpotOn restaurant software suite.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, making strategic adjustments based on client needs, data insights, and business priorities.
  • Take an innovative approach to product vision and design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize requests for new features.
  • Evaluate market trends, competition, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge and drive growth.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously test, iterate, and refine product decisions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders, serving as the internal and external advocate for the product.
  • Work closely with product marketing to define and communicate the product’s positioning and value.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product management or a related field, preferably within restaurant or hospitality software.
  • Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle and experience in designing and delivering high-quality products.
  • A metrics-driven mindset, leveraging data to inform and guide decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile, iterative process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A customer-first approach, with the ability to understand user needs and how they interact with the product.
  • Comfort in making decisions with imperfect information, leading without direct authority, and navigating ambiguity and complexity.
  • Bonus: Experience working in a restaurant or bar is highly valued.
