Responsibilities
- Play a key role in shaping the product strategy for the SpotOn restaurant software suite.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, making strategic adjustments based on client needs, data insights, and business priorities.
- Take an innovative approach to product vision and design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize requests for new features.
- Evaluate market trends, competition, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge and drive growth.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously test, iterate, and refine product decisions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders, serving as the internal and external advocate for the product.
- Work closely with product marketing to define and communicate the product’s positioning and value.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in product management or a related field, preferably within restaurant or hospitality software.
- Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle and experience in designing and delivering high-quality products.
- A metrics-driven mindset, leveraging data to inform and guide decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile, iterative process.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A customer-first approach, with the ability to understand user needs and how they interact with the product.
- Comfort in making decisions with imperfect information, leading without direct authority, and navigating ambiguity and complexity.
- Bonus: Experience working in a restaurant or bar is highly valued.
