Job Description
Reporting to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director, the Channel Sales Executive, Video serves as the primary contact for all video solutions sales initiatives within the assigned territory. This role involves proactively managing relationships with Avigilon Channel Partners, executing sales strategies, and driving business growth to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities with end customers, fulfilled through our partner channel.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and project quotas, focusing on Avigilon products and services.
- Promote and market Avigilon’s solutions within the assigned territory and named accounts.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying, nurturing, and responding to opportunities for Avigilon’s products and services.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional activities, and track sales progress.
- Prioritize new account development to expand Avigilon’s customer base.
- Collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities, including participation in associations, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Lead video and analytics solution development efforts that align with end-user needs, coordinating with internal teams and channel partners.
- Engage in daily prospecting efforts using all available tools to maximize lead generation.
- Establish “Trusted Advisor” relationships with customers and Channel Partners to enhance system and business development.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting as required.
- Maintain CRM records for both new and existing account development.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in video security solutions sales.
- Background in physical security solutions is a plus.
- Experience working with channel sales strategies and initiatives.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to articulate Avigilon’s products and solutions effectively.
- Proven ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success and relationship building.
- Deep understanding of Avigilon’s go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Apps, particularly Excel/Sheets.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (~50%).
