Key Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor

  • Supervise Heritage Restoration: Oversee the renovation of Grade 2 listed buildings, ensuring work aligns with conservation standards.
  • Support Trades & Management: Work closely with construction teams and site managers to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Implement site safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all workers and visitors.
  • Conduct Site Inductions: Provide thorough introductions for new workers to maintain site safety and regulations.
  • Inspect & Maintain Site Facilities: Regularly assess work areas for damages and necessary repairs, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Essential Requirements for the Site Supervisor Role

  • SMSTS & CSCS Certification: These qualifications are mandatory for the role.
  • Proven Experience in Site Supervision: Previous experience working on similar projects, especially heritage restorations, is highly preferred.
  • Carpentry Background (Preferred): Candidates with a carpentry trade background will be prioritized

Required Skills for the Site Supervisor Role

  • Possession of SMSTS and CSCS Card is essential.
  • Experience in a similar supervisory position.
