Position Overview
Eliot’s Respite Program is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This role focuses on providing medical oversight, education, and direct care to clients, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.

Eliot’s Behavioral Health Division offers an integrated and comprehensive range of services for adults living with psychiatric disabilities. Our evidence-based programs emphasize rehabilitation, recovery, and hope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide education and consultation to both clients and staff on medical health, medications, and wellness topics.
  • Deliver individualized 1:1 training based on specific client needs.
  • Design and facilitate wellness groups and trainings on topics such as nutrition, exercise, and smoking cessation.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources to advance their health and wellness goals.
  • Guide clients in understanding their medical conditions, symptoms, and treatment options.
  • Perform direct medical care as needed, including monitoring vitals, wound care, and interventions aligned with clients’ individualized action plans (IAPs).
  • Review medical documentation and provide care coordination and consultation as required.
  • Collaborate with clients and the care team to ensure appropriate follow-up and continuity of medical care.
  • Offer health and wellness-focused interventions and assist the team in ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness and client progress.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Danvers, MA

Compensation

  • Registered Nurse (RN): $72,560 annually
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $60,000 annually
