About the Role

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will lead pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and effective medication management for home infusion patients. This role involves supervising pharmacy staff, overseeing inventory, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with nursing, delivery, and reimbursement teams to provide seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality patient care.
  • Manage pharmacy staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Ensure safe and accurate medication preparation in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor patient care, evaluating pharmacy staff documentation and medication therapy plans.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget management for pharmaceutical products and supplies.
  • Support sales and business growth, educating providers and managed care organizations about Option Care services.
  • Provide on-call support and ensure reliable pharmacy coverage.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and an active pharmacist license.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a clean room or infusion setting (or equivalent expertise).
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing teams.
  • Budget management experience or completion of an accredited residency program.

Preferred:

  • Board certification in Nutrition Support, Pharmacotherapy, or related field.
  • Experience in sterile compounding and managing complex infusion patients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
