Responsibilities

  • Supports brokers in preparing accounts for new business and renewals, initiating renewal reviews to recommend optimal coverage and enhance client retention strategies.

  • Assists brokers in developing market submissions and quote cover letters for agents, while reviewing all incoming documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Cultivates strong relationships with brokers and demonstrates a thorough understanding of brokerage operations to proactively address business needs.

  • Collaborates with brokers to drive renewal processes and actively seeks new business opportunities through client referrals.

  • Develops strategies for new business opportunities in partnership with brokers, including creating proposals and presentations tailored to potential clients.

  • Identifies and mitigates risks associated with accounts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

  • Maintains data integrity by ensuring the accuracy of all new and existing account information within internal systems, creating precise documentation, and consistently meeting quality and service benchmarks.

  • Generates reports on key performance indicators and portfolio trends, providing valuable insights to brokers to help grow and enhance their book of business.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry with a bachelor’s degree.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Active P&C and/or surplus lines licenses as mandated by the state.

  • Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Commercial Insurance License (CIL).
