Dozer/Loader Operator

A Typical Day as a Dozer Operator May Include:

• Operating a dozer in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards

• Participating in safety inspections, following plant safety programs, and adhering to company and MSHA regulations

• Constructing haul roads, preparing drill benches, leveling shot material after blasting, and ensuring proper drainage when needed

• Assisting loader operations by breaking down surge piles and maintaining product piles as required

• Conducting pre-shift safety inspections and reporting any necessary repairs to the supervisor

• Performing preventative maintenance, servicing mobile equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of machinery

• Maintaining safe traffic flow throughout the site

• Operating additional equipment such as loaders and haul trucks when necessary

• Assisting in the training of co-workers

• Carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisor

You May Be a Good Fit If You:

• Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience relevant to this role

• Possess experience in mobile equipment maintenance and operation, construction equipment, or processing plant machinery

• Have dozer operation and maintenance experience (preferred)
