Delivery Driver – PepsiCo
Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver at PepsiCo, you’ll be responsible for delivering products to a variety of customers, including Foodservice accounts. You will operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining strong relationships with store management and receiving personnel.
Your role will include rotating and stocking products on store shelves, setting up displays, and ensuring promotional materials are in place. Additionally, you will generate invoices and manage the daily settlement of cash and charge transactions.
This position requires physical stamina, including lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds throughout your shift and occasionally pushing or pulling up to 150 pounds of force. You will frequently reach, squat, and bend while stocking and merchandising products. Deliveries involve unloading pallets using an electronic pallet jack or a two-wheel hand truck, placing products in designated store backroom areas.
Primary Responsibilities

Safely deliver products and execute all promotions.

Complete all scheduled deliveries before the end of the shift.

Merchandise products according to local standards.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel.
Basic Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older.

Ability to pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical examination.

Possess a valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate statuses are accepted. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
Preferred Experience
-
Operating commercial trucks requiring a valid U.S. CDL license, including maneuvering in tight spaces.

Adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining proper documentation.

Merchandising products (stocking shelves, building displays, rotating stock, and ensuring products are well presented).

Using equipment such as pallet jacks, dock plates, load bars, and straps to assist with deliveries.

Operating lift gates, hand trucks, and other delivery equipment.

Documenting and following DOT safety regulations.
Additional Requirements
This role involves fieldwork, including visiting customer locations and interacting with employees, vendors, and the public. Following a conditional offer of employment, PepsiCo will conduct a background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws to ensure workplace safety.
