Tri Pointe Homes is seeking a Web & Mobile App Developer to join our Home Office marketing team. This role will be instrumental in leading the design and development of cutting-edge headless websites and React Native mobile applications. The ideal candidate will not only have hands-on technical expertise but also strong leadership and project management skills to oversee external development partners. We’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset, technical proficiency, and a passion for delivering scalable, efficient, and user-centric solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for websites and React Native mobile applications.

  • Identify outdated technologies and assist in planning migrations to modern platforms.

  • Maintain and transition WordPress websites to newer, headless CMS technologies.

  • Provide technical leadership for internal teams and manage external development partners.

  • Oversee the technical roadmap, recommending tools and frameworks that align with business goals.

  • Review code and evaluate technical work from external teams to maintain quality standards.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Tri Pointe Homes and external development teams.

  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for website and mobile app features.

  • Implement and integrate APIs for seamless functionality between platforms.

  • Optimize performance, security, and scalability of web and mobile applications.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies to enhance development processes and business solutions.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in software development.

  • Proven experience in managing external development teams.

  • Expertise in React, React Native, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Strong knowledge of headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Builder.io).

  • Familiarity with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, WP REST API, and security best practices).

  • Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL API development.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong performance optimization skills for web and mobile applications.

  • Knowledge of server-side frameworks (e.g., Node.js) is a plus.

  • Understanding of security best practices in web and mobile development.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary & Bonus

  • Base Salary: $123,000 – $168,000 per year (based on experience and skillset).

  • Performance-Based Bonus: Annual incentive compensation plan.
