Location: Maelor Hospital + Covering Deeside, Holywell, Chirk, Mold & Penley Community Hospitals
Salary: £12.29/hr | Enhanced Pay: Saturday £17.31/hr | Sunday £22.49/hr
Job Type: Permanent | Shifts: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Includes weekends & flexible shift patterns)
About the Role
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality catering services to both patients and staff. As a Catering Assistant, you will ensure food is prepared and served safely while maintaining high hygiene standards. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Work within the kitchen and serve food at ward level, ensuring excellent service.
Adapt to various shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply).
Travel between hospital sites as required (driving license is essential).
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of catering services.

Requirements
Previous catering experience is essential.
