This leadership role oversees patient care and service delivery in designated areas, managing staff, budgets, and quality standards. In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, this position assumes facility oversight. The ideal candidate stays current on peri-operative care standards and best practices.
Qualifications

Licensure: Active NYS Registered Professional Nurse license.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience

Surgical Services: Minimum of five years of experience.

Leadership: Five years of progressive management experience, including budgeting, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Skills: Strong organizational abilities, experience leading complex teams, and program development. Clinical expertise in the field is preferred.
