Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain monthly and annual plans and forecasts for retail and tuxedo distribution, transportation, and manufacturing across all business entities, ensuring timely completion.

  • Provide critical management reports on retail, rental distribution, hub distribution, transportation, and Joseph Abboud manufacturing, with key performance indicators (KPIs) for business evaluation.

  • Identify opportunities to utilize technology and systems to streamline manual reporting and data compilation processes.

  • Analyze and provide explanations for significant month-end variances versus financial plans and prior years for various P&L line items.

  • Offer valuable financial analysis and strategic insights to cross-functional teams.

  • Create presentations and communication materials for executive management, Board of Directors, earnings releases, investor conferences, and industry events.

  • Maintain retail, tuxedo distribution, transportation, and Joseph Abboud manufacturing hierarchies in Hyperion Essbase.

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and special analysis to support distribution, financial, and executive management teams.

  • Collaborate with account managers from FedEx, Ryder, and Cass to support operations.

  • Actively participate in weekly/monthly meetings with distribution and transportation teams to review and assess performance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in planning, evaluation, and financial analysis.

  • Experience in retail logistics, distribution, and manufacturing reporting and analysis is highly preferred.

  • Strong experience in financial statement modeling and analysis (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

  • Ability to simplify complex business/financial scenarios and communicate them clearly.

  • Proficiency in financial and forecasting software, with experience in Hyperion Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and PeopleSoft Financials being strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, and analytical tools (DCF, IRR, payback).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; skilled in other Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with corporate executives, business management, legal teams, and CFOs.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis and investment/project measurement.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support business needs.

  • High initiative and critical thinking skills to turn business challenges into actionable solutions.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, self-motivated work environment.

  • Experience with accessing data from financial systems and understanding corporate hierarchies; PeopleSoft experience is preferred.

  • Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage detailed information in a demanding work environment.

  • Structured, disciplined work approach with a focus on detail.

Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach regularly.

  • Expected to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work remotely as needed.
