Job Overview: Staff Accountant at InvestCloud
InvestCloud is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Staff Accountant to join its team. In this role, you will manage financial records, assist with budgeting, and support the month-end close process. You will be responsible for general ledger accounting, financial reconciliations, and preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Update cash trackers for AP, AR, and Treasury teams.

Book intercompany transactions, payroll, benefits, bank fees, and other transactions.

Maintain and manage the NetSuite Fixed Assets Module.

Assist with month-end reconciliations, variance analysis, and journal entries.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Prepare documentation for audits and respond to auditor inquiries.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

1-3 years of accounting experience.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Knowledge of GAAP.
Preferred Qualifications:

CPA candidate.

Public accounting experience is a plus.
