Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.

Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, manage patient records, process third-party claims, and maintain inventory control.

Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication usage, dosages, interactions, and potential side effects.

Actively participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.

Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring team members adhere to all regulatory and company guidelines.

Mentor and support pharmacy interns, technicians, and associates by offering training, feedback, and performance monitoring.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.

Complete all continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.

Contribute to achieving financial targets, including sales growth, profit optimization, and reduction of inventory shrink and supply costs.

Uphold the security and proper handling of all controlled substances.
Minimum Qualifications

Licensed and registered pharmacist in good standing with the applicable state board.

Current immunization certification or willingness to complete certification.

Valid driver’s license required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Consent to driver’s license monitoring is required.
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (5-year program).

Working knowledge of pharmacy software systems and automated dispensing technology.

Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and electronic.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Capable of delegating, prioritizing, and evaluating tasks effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
