Senior Cloud Network Engineer (Senior Technical Consultant)
AHEAD is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, automate, deploy, and integrate networking and network security resources for our clients on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on optimizing on-premises networks for cloud adoption, ensuring resiliency and manageability. Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in cloud networking, traditional networking technologies, and the ability to lead client discussions and guide them to solutions.
Responsibilities:

Lead design, deployment, and automation for public cloud platforms.

Act as a technical escalation point, resolving incidents and problems.

Keep stakeholders and project managers informed with detailed communications.

Serve as the subject matter expert in client workshops and engagements.

Develop client deliverables, including written documents and detailed diagrams.

Continuously evolve technical skills through certifications and training.

Mentor junior team members and provide on-the-job guidance.

Maintain accurate travel, expense, and time records per AHEAD policies.
Qualifications:

Expertise in Terraform for cloud resource provisioning and management.

Experience designing and deploying network and security constructs across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hybrid and multi-cloud solutions (e.g., SD-WAN, VPNs, Direct Connect).

Proficient in deploying network security solutions (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco FTD).

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, AWS, Azure, Cisco).

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
