Schedule: 8:45 AM – 2:45 PM | School-Year Only (Nights, Weekends, and Summers Off!)
Start Date: Paid training begins August 1st

We are currently hiring CNAs to join our collaborative and compassionate team for the 2024–2025 school year. Starting pay is $17.50/hour, with higher wages available for candidates with additional education or related experience—which we proudly honor!
About the Role
Position Title: Special Education Health Paraprofessional
Work Days: 181 days per school year
Department: Student Services, ESU #3
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Classroom Teacher & Principal
Supervises: None
Minimum Requirements
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
-
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
-
Must pass all required background checks
-
Consistent and reliable in-person attendance
-
No history of child abuse or neglect
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist students with health-related needs such as feeding (including tube feeding), suctioning, toileting, CPR, and therapy support
-
Support teachers and therapists with classroom activities and educational goals
-
Help with daily classroom setup, routine, and materials preparation
-
Provide assistance with activities of daily living and functional living skills
-
Observe and report on student progress and behavior to the teaching team

Maintain cleanliness and implement universal health precautions

Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Follow all ESU #3 and Brook Valley policies, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality

Provide own transportation as needed
