Job Responsibilities
As a Security Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting IT security initiatives and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting IT projects by conducting risk and security assessments, recommending remediation actions such as secure configuration, logical access controls, and secure data handling practices.

Processing access requests for user account provisioning and de-provisioning across MassHealth enterprise applications, in line with the MassHealth Account Profile Matrix.

Providing administrative support for the Massachusetts Health Insurance Exchange (MAHIX), including creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts.

Accurately documenting all account-related activities within the CA Service Desk ticketing system.

Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures aligned with EOHHS standards and industry best practices.

Troubleshooting user-reported issues, performing root cause analysis, and assisting in the resolution of security-related incidents.

Contributing to the design, review, and testing of system roles and administrative user interfaces to ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in a Security Analyst role, with hands-on experience in security and audit processes.

Strong technical acumen with the ability to clearly communicate both technical and non-technical information to various stakeholders.

Experience collaborating with auditors, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and offer actionable recommendations.

Exceptional communication, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage priorities effectively while handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with applications and network infrastructure is preferred.

Experience in the government or healthcare sectors is a plus.
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or equivalent work experience.

Industry certifications such as CISM, CISA, or CISSP are highly preferred but not required.
