Job Summary:
Walgreens is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, support clinical care, and enhance the overall patient experience. This role involves consulting patients on medications, performing clinical services (such as immunizations and diagnostic testing), ensuring accurate dispensing, and supporting pharmacy operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient consultations on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
Perform clinical services including immunizations, health screenings, and medication therapy management.
Dispense and verify prescriptions in compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
Support pharmacy operations, workflow, and inventory management.
Educate patients and promote awareness of Walgreens health services.
Collaborate with the local medical community and participate in outreach events.
Assist in staff training, performance coaching, and fostering team development.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in pharmacy laws, practices, and technology.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in the applicable state(s).
Strong understanding of controlled substance laws.
Certified immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
