Summary:
The Pharmacist ensures adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and overseeing patient care. They actively contribute to quality improvement efforts, maintain a clean workspace, and complete required continuing education to uphold professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Comply with federal and state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.

Prepare and dispense medications, maintain accurate records, manage patient charges, and oversee inventory.

Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects.

Participate in patient services, including immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.

Supervise and guide pharmacy staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and performance.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete continuing education as required.

Achieve financial goals, such as sales growth, maximizing gross profit, and minimizing expenses.

Ensure the security of controlled substances.
Qualifications:

Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing.

Immunization Certification or agreement to complete certification.

Valid Driver’s License and at least 21 years of age.

Ability to comply with Driver’s License Monitoring.
Education & Experience:

5-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.

General knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing systems.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Physical Requirements & Equipment:

Proficient in using pharmacy computer systems, case cutters, marking guns, cash registers, and pill counters.
