The Rabbit Hole is a newage sports bar / gastropub located in Astoria, NY, known for our vibrant atmosphere and unique offerings. We are currently seeking a talented Chef who is eager to bring fresh ideas and creativity to our kitchen.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced chef with a strong background in gastropub cuisine and brunch. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual who can work within a small kitchen environment and partnership opportunity as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a cohesive menu that reflects modern culinary trends. Open up brunch.

Manage kitchen operations and ensure quality control of all food served.

Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards.

Engage with customers through social media, promoting menu items and specials.

Collaborate on special events and themed nights to drive business.

Qualifications:

Experience in a gastropub or similar culinary environment.

Strong understanding of brunch service.

Knowledge of current food trends and social media marketing.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, small kitchen setting.

Must have a food handler’s certification.
