Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, your role will include:

Assisting with audit procedures such as risk assessment, internal control testing, and substantive audit testing

Preparing audit work papers in line with firm standards and regulations

Conducting analytical procedures to identify trends, variances, and risks

Coordinating with clients to gather necessary documentation for audits

Drafting financial statements and audit reports

Participating in engagement planning and audit strategy development

Communicating effectively with the audit team and clients

Staying updated on audit standards and regulations
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)

CPA or actively pursuing licensure (preferred)

Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
