About the Role:
As a Pharmacy Technician – Medication History, you will play a critical role in ensuring medication safety and accuracy throughout a patient’s care journey. Under the direct supervision of the pharmacy department, you will:

Gather detailed medication histories from patients, families, and caregivers at the start of care (in the Emergency Department or inpatient units).

Verify and reconcile patient-provided information with electronic medication records to ensure accuracy.

Support pharmacists and physicians by clarifying medication-related questions or discrepancies.
Requirements:
-
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
-
Licensure: Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy

Experience:
-
Minimum of 4 years as a pharmacy technician
-
Ambulatory or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Team-oriented with a collaborative approach

Familiarity with common prescription medications and their uses

Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
