Join the BPS Team as a Qualifications Officer
As a Qualifications Officer at the British Psychological Society (BPS), you’ll contribute to a long-standing organization that has championed psychological science and education for over 120 years. Based in Leicester with hybrid flexibility, you’ll be part of a friendly, professional environment where your role directly impacts learners’ academic journeys.
You’ll report to the Qualifications Manager, supporting the qualification process from enrolment to assessment, and ensuring all activities meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Qualifications Officer Role
As a dedicated Qualifications Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting learners, supervisors, and subject experts with qualifications-related queries

Ensuring qualifications are delivered in line with quality assurance requirements

Assisting in the management of assessment schedules and documentation

Collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery

Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes
What We’re Looking for in a Qualifications Officer
To thrive in this Qualifications Officer role, you should have:

Education to at least A-Level standard

Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and sound judgement

Proficiency in using IT systems and preferably Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs)

Previous experience in education, professional development, or learning environments
