 Teaching Assistant: Full Time – Key Requirements

To succeed in this Teaching Assistant: Full Time position, you must have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

  • Experience working in primary schools, nurseries, or SEN provisions

  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and school routines

  • The ability to follow instructions, use initiative, and work with empathy

 Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant: Full Time

Your daily duties as a Teaching Assistant: Full Time will include:

  • Supporting children with varying academic and emotional needs

  • Assisting with behaviour management and creating a positive classroom environment

  • Supporting IEPs for children with SEND

  • Promoting independence and resilience among pupils

  • Helping teachers with daily classroom tasks and learning resources
