Job Description
If you’re looking for a hands-on, part-time opportunity in facilities management, this Cleaner in Charge role based at County House Registry Office, Mansfield, could be a perfect fit. As a Cleaner in Charge, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards throughout the site and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, with flexible early morning and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities for a Cleaner in Charge
Main Duties Include:

Open and secure the site daily

Perform vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and furniture cleaning

Clean washrooms and windows to a high standard

Operate electrical cleaning equipment when required (e.g. buffing machine, wet pick-up)

Organise your daily routine to meet site needs using your own initiative

Adhere to health and safety and PPE protocols
Requirements for a Cleaner in Charge
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A positive attitude and ability to work independently

Good communication skills for interacting with team members and site users

Prior cleaning experience desirable but not essential — full training provided

Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and vetting

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of vulnerable individuals

Hours: 26 hours per week (6:00am–9:12am & 4:00pm–6:00pm)
Location: County House, Mansfield, NG19 7DN
Rate: £12.26–£12.65 per hour
