Sureserve Energy Services Meters is currently hiring a skilled Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the daily scheduling of Engineers across the UK. As a Dispatcher, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely service delivery for domestic smart meter installations.  Key Responsibilities of a Dispatcher

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch Engineers based on customer requests and operational needs

  • Maintain constant communication with Engineers, clients, and internal teams to deliver updates and resolve queries

  • Track the real-time location and status of Engineers to ensure on-time arrivals and service completions

  • Manage delays, emergencies, and last-minute requests effectively with swift problem-solving

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring positive service experiences

  • Comply with all dispatch, safety, and company policies and regulations

 What We’re Looking for in a Dispatcher

  • High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or dispatch certifications a plus

  • Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or operations preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities

  • Calm, efficient decision-maker under pressure

  • Competent problem-solver with a proactive mindset
