Novant Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to join our outstanding imaging team. This role involves independently performing and assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures using x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will work in various acute care settings including inpatient and outpatient areas, emergency department, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a consistently remarkable patient experience across all points of care.

Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mobile and intraoperative imaging, per physician orders.

Assist licensed practitioners during advanced procedures such as ERCPs, bronchoscopy, and orthopedic reductions.

Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment in compliance with Novant Health’s “First Do No Harm” philosophy.

Ensure quality performance and safety standards are met by using ALARA principles and proper equipment techniques.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Associate Degree preferred.
-
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (required).
-
New graduates must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of graduation.
Experience:
-
At least one year of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
-
ARRT certification in Radiography [RT(R)] – required.

State licensure as applicable – required.

BLS Certification – required.
-
Must pass ARRT registry within 6 months of program completion if newly graduated.
Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and compliance standards.

Proficiency in the operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.

Experience with mobile and intraoperative imaging (e.g., mini C-arm, pacer placements, neonate imaging).

Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
