We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Operations Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team at our Watford Support Centre. This hybrid role offers a fantastic opportunity to support financial reporting, analysis, and month-end processes, while contributing to operational finance initiatives. As an Operations Finance Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing key financial data and providing valuable insights to support decision-making across the business. Candidates should have at least one year of finance experience, particularly covering month-end reporting, debits, and credits.

Operations Finance Analyst Key Responsibilities

  • Management accounting for Stores and Operations — including Development Property, Salary, and Legal costs.

  • Complete month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments, P&L generation, variance analysis, and commentary.

  • Balance sheet reconciliations with risk and opportunity analysis, reporting directly to the Head of Operations Finance.

  • Respond to P&L queries from Store teams quickly and professionally.

  • Track risks and opportunities, proactively highlighting financial issues.

  • Ensure accurate reporting for the Operations and Property team.

  • Support regear modelling and new store proposals for Board approval.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with VAT and Fixed Asset teams.

 What We’re Looking For in an Operations Finance Analyst

  • Graduate, part-qualified CIMA/ACCA professional (or working toward it).

  • At least one year’s finance experience, covering month-end reporting and core financial processes.

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about continuous learning.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
