Job Description
We’re hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter Welder to join our team in Slough, specialising in stainless steel fabrication and process pipe installations within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. As a Pipe Fitter Welder, you’ll be responsible for fabricating, welding, and installing pipework systems independently and on-site. The ideal candidate will be time-served, reliable, and confident working with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Pipe Fitter Welder Key Responsibilities
In this Pipe Fitter Welder role, you’ll take ownership of:

Fabrication, TIG purge welding, and installation of stainless-steel pipework.

Setting out hygienic pipework, steam, and condensate systems.

Completing mechanical fitting, maintenance, and assembly tasks.

Accurately measuring and planning pipe routes from engineering drawings and P&IDs.

Performing both workshop and on-site fabrication projects.

Supporting with bill of materials, RAMS, and material requisitions.

To excel as a Pipe Fitter Welder, you’ll need:

A recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship.

Solid experience in stainless steel fabrication and process installations.

Strong TIG welding skills, pipework fitting, and mechanical assembly knowledge.
