About the Job:
Meta is seeking a highly skilled IDC Security Analyst to be an individual contributor within our Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) team. You’ll be crucial in managing security risks for our rapidly expanding data center infrastructure. This role requires you to define a clear long-term security vision aligned with business needs, drive cross-functional security projects, and influence partners to prioritize key security initiatives.
IDC Security Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom detection rules for OT/ICS.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network security tools.
- Serve as the security expert for risk management across logical and physical domains.
- Assess and communicate security threats and vulnerabilities to inform business decisions and strategy.
- Evaluate and report on security control effectiveness to guide strategy and manage risk.
- Engineer security solutions across network, physical, and cyber domains to protect Meta infrastructure at scale.
- Develop security guidance (standards, guidelines, playbooks) aligning policy, best practices, and regulations.
- Interpret, create, and refine technical security documents.
- Drive cross-functional integration and execution of security requirements.
- Collaborate with data center design and operations teams as a multidisciplinary security expert.
- Act as a security advocate and educate peers and partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on security experience.
- Knowledge in Detection Engineering, Security Architecture and Design, Security Infrastructure Management, and Incident Response.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Experience identifying and communicating clear security requirements.
- Experience establishing, scaling, and maturing security projects and programs.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in intrusion detection, security investigations, and incident response.
- Experience with enterprise-wide or multi-organizational projects.
- Direct experience in hyperscale Data Center programs or similar large-scale critical infrastructure.
