The Opportunity:
Demystify cyber threats for the U.S. Navy as an Information Systems Security Specialist. You’ll analyze complex risks, understand policies, and develop clear mitigation plans. By assessing technical, environmental, and personnel details, you’ll provide actionable guidance through presentations and reports, enabling informed decisions to secure critical infrastructure. You Have:
- 2+ years in cybersecurity, engineering, T&E, A&A, or C&A.
- Experience with Information Assurance tools (eMASS, ACAS).
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Understanding of security policies and guidance for compliance artifacts and ATO requirements.
- Ability to evaluate security solutions for classified information.
- Ability to supervise and maintain the security posture of information systems/programs.
- Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- CompTIA Security+, CASP, or CISSP Certification.
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Windows and RHEL.
- Experience with AWS Solutions (RDS, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, Security Hub, CloudFormation).
- Experience with DoD/Navy systems, including STIGs and compliance.
- Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, or Citrix certifications.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Architect, Developer, SysOps Associate).
Clearance:
- Secret clearance required; applicants will undergo a security investigation.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD), based on various factors. Comprehensive benefits package offered.
