Company Overview
MultiCare’s legacy of caring began in 1882 with the opening of Tacoma’s first hospital. Since then, we’ve evolved from a single, hospital-based facility into Washington’s largest, community-based, locally governed health system.
Today, MultiCare encompasses a vast network of care, including more than 300 locations offering primary, urgent, pediatric, and specialty services across Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, as well as 13 hospitals. Our reach spans the Pacific Northwest, and our team of over 20,000 dedicated professionals—including staff, clinicians, and volunteers—provides compassionate, expert care to the communities we proudly serve.
While our organization has grown and transformed over time, one thing remains constant: our unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the people in our region. Guided by our mission, vision, and values, we continue to expand access to care, respond to community needs, and deliver high-quality services now and for generations to come.
