Job Opportunity: Senior DevOps Engineer – EdTech Industry
Talent Groups is excited to announce an opening for a Senior DevOps Engineer within a dynamic, collaborative, and lean infrastructure team in the EdTech space. This high-impact, newly reopened role reports directly to a hands-on manager who is seeking a versatile, programmer-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or Systems Engineer with deep Linux expertise. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, be capable of wearing multiple hats, and be passionate about developing solutions from the ground up while solving complex engineering challenges.
Required Experience and Skills:

6+ years of hands-on experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering, SRE, or related technical roles.

Strong expertise in Linux systems (CentOS/RHEL), supporting large-scale environments with a deep understanding of system administration.

Proven expertise in Ansible, with the ability to write, extend, and maintain modular, production-grade playbooks for automation.

Extensive experience in CI/CD practices, including the development of Jenkins pipelines, Groovy scripting, multi-branch source code management (SCM), and artifact handling.

Solid background with AWS (Amazon Web Services), including infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Java, Go, or Perl.

Hands-on experience with Docker/LXC containers and orchestration tools like Docker Swarm (a plus).

Comfortable designing, maintaining, and modifying infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

Strong knowledge of networking, monitoring, and security best practices, with a proactive approach to risk management.

A demonstrated history of career progression and role stability, with a preference for candidates who have not changed jobs frequently.

Experience supporting production environments and participating in on-call rotations, ensuring system uptime and reliability.
Nice to Have:

Familiarity with F5 LTM, LVM, and legacy hosting technologies, enhancing the overall infrastructure management.

Experience with Git, artifact management systems, and secure deployment workflows, ensuring smooth continuous integration and delivery.

Exposure to log aggregation tools, alerting systems, and SIEM/IDS platforms for improved monitoring and troubleshooting.
