GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in supporting the design and implementation of a new cloud-based data platform, a key component of our firmwide digital transformation initiative. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making and delivering valuable insights that enhance both our client experience and internal operations.
As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical datasets that serve as a single source of truth—reliable, consistent, and actionable. You will help foster a data-centric culture by promoting trust, adoption, and the democratization of insights across the firm, from client-facing advisors to senior leadership. This is a hybrid position based in Independence, OH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries within Azure environments (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Purview, and Azure Data Factory).

Create and implement data collection strategies to ensure data quality, improve efficiency, and support automation.

Acquire, cleanse, and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop deep domain knowledge and translate business needs into data requirements.

Document business and data requirements clearly and effectively.

Research and recommend innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data capabilities and operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

Proficiency in Azure-based tools and services, including Data Lake, SQL Managed Instance, Data Factory, and Purview.

Advanced SQL expertise with a demonstrated ability to write and optimize complex queries for large-scale datasets.
