Physical Therapist Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our patient care team in a dynamic and rewarding environment. In this role, you will design and implement physical therapy programs in acute, subacute, and outpatient settings to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability following injury or illness. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to the ethical and professional standards of physical therapy practice.

Requirements:

  • Current Tennessee Physical Therapy license

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

Experience:
Experience in patient care delivery preferred.

Skills and Equipment Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with standard physical therapy equipment

  • Ability to manage patient care in high-pressure and diverse settings

  • Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and communication tools

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to infectious diseases and potentially combative patients

  • Must demonstrate physical ability to lift and assist patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs)

  • Ability to assist in emergency evacuations, including carrying patients if necessary

Performance Expectations:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Apply evidence-based therapy techniques consistent with APTA standards

  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment accordingly, and coordinate discharge planning

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of all patient interactions

  • Support team development by mentoring students and staff as needed

  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives
