    Role Overview:
    As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, managing the occupational therapy process for a group of assigned patients in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will evaluate patients, create individualized care plans, and focus on goal achievement and patient engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct evaluations and treatment interventions as per your professional scope and ethics.

    • Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.

    • Collaborate in patient placement and development of care plans.

    • Provide skilled, purposeful interaction and report patient reactions to treatment.

    • Communicate patient needs and requirements to the care team and family.

    • Prioritize caseloads and coordinate staffing and assignments.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred).

    • Registered Occupational Therapist in Texas.

    • 1-2 years of inpatient rehab experience preferred; new grads will be considered.

    • CARE scoring experience is a plus.

    • Must be able to work weekdays with rotating weekends (once a month).
