Occupational Therapist (PRN) – Flexible Scheduling – Germantown, MD

As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing effective and professional occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population, adhering to all Maryland State laws and AOTA ethical standards. This position offers a competitive salary and flexible scheduling, including some weekdays and just 1-2 weekend days per month, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Acute care experience is a plus.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and families, to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Potentially receive specialized training to work with specific patient groups or programs.
- Uphold the AOTA Code of Ethics and the mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
What you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
- Current and active Maryland Occupational Therapy license.
- Completion of at least six months of supervised fieldwork.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients in any hospital unit within your professional scope.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written communication).
- Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
Pay Range: $48.00 – $53.50 per hour (commensurate with experience, skills, and education).
